Hi! I'm Jen Blaesing.

I was a serial monogamist who refused to give up on love — which meant that every time a relationship ended (7 times!), I made myself figure out why. Seven breakups. Seven post-mortems. Each one taught me something I didn't know before, even when the lesson was brutal.

Eventually, I got tired. I gave up on dating entirely for almost three years. Honestly, it was some of the best times of my life. I threw myself into Chicago's underground art and music scene, producing immersive events, building wild communities, coaching creatives, and working as a matchmaker for people who still had hope for love. I was living fully. I wasn’t really looking, but still was meeting some cool potentials along the way.

Then COVID hit, and the world got very quiet.

I kept matchmaking through it — blind video dates during a time of global uncertainty — and what I witnessed stayed with me. Real loneliness. Real longing. A serious lack of understanding how to connect. And a landscape that gave people almost nowhere to turn: swipe and hope, or pay a professional a small fortune. So many genuinely wonderful people falling through the cracks of both.

That's when it clicked. What people needed wasn't someone to find love for them. They needed tools to find their way there themselves.

I spent the next five years building those tools — drawing on my matchmaking experience, iPEC coaching training, and a relatively embarrassing amount of research into psychology, relationships, communication, neuroscience, trauma, and all the personal development in the universe. A true junkie!

And guess what. Somewhere in there, I found my person. Seven-plus years in, and we are rock solid. I know now that it can happen — because for me, it almost didn't. And then it did.
